About Lanseria International Airport

Lanseria International Airport (IATA: HLA, ICAO: FALA) is a privately owned international airport that is situated north of Randburg and Sandton to the north west of Johannesburg, approximately 35 kilometers (22 miles) from the city center.

The Airport is privately owned and operated by Lanseria International Airport Proprietary Limited.

The Airport has two asphalt runways. The primary runway, 06/24, is approximately 3,400 meters (11,155 feet) in length, while the secondary runway, 03/21, is approximately 1,800 meters (5,905 feet) in length.

The Airport are hubs for Kulula.com, Mango and Solenta Aviation. Comair and King Air Charter offer charter services from this Airport.

The upgraded terminal building at Lanseria International Airport boasts a spacious area for passenger comfort. You can grab a meal, or quick drink at anyone of the restaurants on site.

Lanseria International Airport offers safe and secure parking facilities all year round. In both short term and long term car parks, your wheels will be looked after and enjoy the cool shade of permanent car ports. Security is top notch, with the entire area patrolled 24/7 by guards on bcycles and Segway's. The parking lot is also access controlled with entrance and exit booms, and interlocking spike barriers. The parking area is in close proximity to the Main Terminal Building.

Public road transport is provided by airport shuttle buses and metered taxis, which have been allocated their own pick-up and drop-off area adjacent to the terminal entrance to the international arrivals area.
