About Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport
Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (IATA: MQP, ICAO: FAKN) is located 27 km
north east of Nelspruit in Mpumalanga, South Africa.
There are scheduled passenger flights to other South African cities as well as
regional destinations.
The terminal building, constructed as an African theme all under thatch has a
total floor space of 7350 square meters, making this the largest thatch
constructed Airport in the world, a true aviation masterpiece to be seen. The

Public road transport is provided by airport shuttle transfer, which have been
allocated their own pick-up and drop-off area adjacent to the terminal entrance
to the international arrivals area. Car Rental counters are available at KMI
Airport terminals, and there are many local companies represented there to
arrange pickup and drop off services.
